August update
Hi everyone!
Greetings from Glasgow in Scotland! I thought I would send a brief letter to let you know that I am finally here and ready to start this new adventure!
I arrived in Glasgow on the 8th August and am being kindly hosted by my friends and pastors Euan and Romona McCrindle until I find a place to stay of my own. There are a few administration hoops to jump through as I get settled here in the UK, so I am very grateful for the space to do that.
New church family
It was such a joy to go to church on Sunday and connect with the few people I had already met and meet some new people. I feel right at home with my new church family and am excited to spend time in the coming weeks building these relationships. In many ways it feels like I have come home.
First Sunday at Every Nation Glasgow! My friend Traci (left) helped me with the move and drove up with me from London. My friend Romona (right) is one of the lead pastors.
Discovering the neighbourhood
While it is still sunny in Glasgow (!), I am enjoying walking around and exploring my new neighbourhood in the South side.
My friends’ flat is across the road from this beautiful park, Queen’s Park. It has been good for the soul to enjoy this lovely green space.
The Scottish heather is out in full force! So pretty!
Prayer requests
Thank you so much for standing with me in prayer for the following things:
All the administration involved in moving country to go smoothly
To find a place to stay in this neighbourhood as it would be close to church and friends
To find a part-time job to help me get settled (I will continue raising monthly ministry support, but at this point I do not have enough ministry support to sustain me full-time so I need to find a part-time job that will not interfere with my ministry responsibilities)
New monthly partners to join my team
Open doors and open hearts to share the gospel in this beautiful city and make new friends
Favour for our church to find a new venue (the venue we have been using is being repurposed so we need to find a new space in the next few weeks)

Thank you for your continued support - both financial and in prayer. I can’t wait to share more ministry news with you as I get settled here but I am SO excited for this new season and what God has in store.
