June /July update
Hi everyone!
I hope you’re all well. I thought I would send a very brief update from South Africa before my move to Glasgow in August!
Family and Ministry in South Africa
It has been so wonderful being back, spending some much-needed time with family and re-connecting with old friends, but also having the opportunity to meet new friends.
June was jam-packed with family celebrations! So good for my soul to be able to be here with my family and make some new happy memories!
I’ve had the opportunity to share in a few churches and small groups while I have been in South Africa, but a definite highlight for me was spending a week in Potchefstroom (where I was a pastor on staff for 10 years before moving to Marseille), where I had the privilege of preaching in one of their Sunday services, sharing at their staff devotions and a number of their small groups, as well as meeting one on one with a number of people who feel called into ministry.
The joys of world-wide spiritual family! This is Every Nation Faith City in Potchefstroom praying for the nation of Scotland while I was there.
Pastor Celesté invited me to share at one of her small groups. These women are prayer warriors!
It was a very rich time for me relationally, also meeting up with current and new ministry parters who are so encouraging and supportive of me personally, and of course the ministry in Europe (and now the UK).
Transitioning to the UK
I am so excited about this new adventure in Scotland! As I have shared before, I feel like this is a fulfilment of a promise God gave me many years ago, and I cannot wait to join the team at Every Nation Glasgow and be a part of what God is doing in that dynamic city. I will be leaving South Africa for the UK at the end of July.
Transitioning to Glasgow is a huge step of faith, mostly because I will be transitioning into British pounds and so the cost of living is a lot more expensive than in Marseille. So while I am full of joy and very expectant as I know this is where God wants me to be, I would still very much appreciate your prayers. Thank you so much to each one of you who are already supporting me financially! If you know of anyone else who might have a heart to support a missionary in Scotland, please do let me know and connect me. I will continue raising support from Glasgow as I still need to raise a considerable amount to be able to do ministry full-time. My biggest need is monthly partnership, but of course one-time gifts would be a blessing as moving to another country is costly.
Thank You
Thank you for your continued support and I look forward to sharing my next update from Scotland!
Please send me your news and let me know how I can pray for you!
Sending much love,
Fiona

Psalm 16: 5-6 (The Passion translation)
Yahweh, you alone are my inheritance.
You are my prize, my pleasure, and my portion.
You hold my destiny and its timing in your hands.
Your pleasant path leads me to pleasant places.
I’m overwhelmed by the privileges that come with following you!
